Responsible Gaming

Resorts World Bimini is committed to providing a responsible gaming environment for our guests and has collaborated with The Bahamas Gaming Board and the Florida Council on Compulsive Gaming to take the following measures to increase problem-gambling awareness with both guests and team members:

Making pamphlets, brochures and information on problem gaming and the self-exclusion program easily accessible throughout the property.

Properly training our employees to recognize and react appropriately when approached by a guest who is having a problem and to strictly enforce minimum legal wagering ages established by law.

Administering the Self-Exclusion Program and allowing guests who may have a gaming problem to voluntarily request that we prohibit their participation in gaming at Resorts World Bimini. A guest may have their own name placed on the Self-Exclusion list by choosing any of the following options:

  • Visiting our facility and asking any employee on the premises about the self-exclusion program. That employee will then connect the guest with a member of security, who will help the guest to complete the necessary forms.
  • If the guest is in Bimini, they can call the Genting Reward’s Desk at extension 1115 to request the appropriate forms and, once completed, bringing them to the Genting Rewards or Host desk where they will be connected to Security who will guide them through the remaining process.
  • Downloading the Voluntary Self-Exclusion Form from the website and bringing them completed to our Genting Reward or Host Desk in Bimini to be processed by Security, or by mailing them to the Director of Security with a notarized cover letter.
  • All completed Voluntary Self-Exclusion Forms must be submitted with state issued identification and a photograph which will be taken by Security if the guest is present at the property. If guest is providing the documents via mail, they must submit a passport size photo that is notarized.
  • Once a name has been added to the list, the request and the information submitted will be shared with the Bahamian Gaming Board and all gaming facilities in The Bahamas. The guest is then excluded from all gaming facilities in the Bahamas.
  • If the excluded guest is found on the premises of our gaming facility or any other licensed gaming facility in The Bahamas, they will be asked to leave immediately. If they do not do so, they will be arrested for trespassing by law enforcement authorities. If the self-excluded person is found gaming, any winnings may be subject to forfeiture and losses cannot be recovered. Should they enter the premises after they have been asked to be self-excluded, Resorts World Bimini will not be liable for any losses or damages that may incur as specifically set forth in the Voluntary Self-Exclusion Form which is signed by the self-excluded individual
  • The guest making the request may choose the length of time that they would wish to be excluded: one year, five years or for life.
  • After the original term of Self-Exclusion has expired the guest name may ask to have their name removed from the Self-Exclusion List. To have gaming privileges reinstated, they must submit the properly completed Reinstatement Form with appropriate identification. Guests should contact the Director of Security for appropriate forms and instructions along with any additional information that may be required at that time.
